Abstract

Chlorine evolution reaction (CER) is the heart of the chlor-alkali process. A pivotal prerequisite for enabling cost-effective and eco-friendly chemical synthesis lies in the proficiency of CER electrocatalyst. Recent significant research by Cho et al. introduces platinum single-atom catalysts, illuminating a promising path to enhance the catalytic activity of CER.
